About Me

The COVID-19 Pandemic of 2020 brought Matthew’s 20 year IT career to an end. He had to step away from the workforce to focus on his health and in doing so ignited a new passion of understanding the human condition in all of its aspects. Now Matthew Stephens is a social sciences undergraduate, returning to academia after a decades-long hiatus, independent researcher, and educator.

Bringing together the lessons Matthew learned as federal government project manager, the experiences gained over 40+ years of life, and passion for life-long learning, Matthew began to deepen the understanding he had in his studies by sharing his new knowledge on social media. After building a moderately-successful channel on TikTok Matthew decided go deeper and expand his regular offerings. Out of that, this site was born.
